THE BEAT:
I designed the titles and credits for Angel Du$t’s “The Beat”, one of a three part music video series for the band. The goal was to make the graphics hit as hard as the song.. loud, gritty, and a lil unhinged. The heavy slab lettering gives it a heavy punch, while the cracked-mirror texture ties back to a moment in the video when Justice, the lead singer, smashes a mirror underfoot. That detail became the core visual idea... This sense of breaking reflection, distortion, and energy spilling past the frame. The end result feels raw and cinematic, part punk show poster, part busted film reel, so that it tunes into the band’s chaotic charm.
