FROM PARIS WITH LOVE
A cinematic typographic system that merges 70s Parisian romance with modern editorial style. I designed the titles and end credits for Vogue’s “From Paris With Love” starring Michelle Yeoh, inspired by vintage European film lettering and the sensual rhythm of French New Wave cinema. The expressive, swirling display type channels the glamour and playfulness of 70s film posters, while the wide geometric sans-serif credits ground the design in a contemporary fashion sensibility. Select lowercase and mirrored “e”s subtly disrupt the uniformity... a nod to the mix of flowy choreography and choppy editing that still moves with an effortless rhythm throughout the video. Together, the system creates a visual tempo that feels both romantic and alive, like a movie star dancing through Paris.
